POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY BRINGS MANAGEMENT OF TECHNOLOGY EXECUTIVE MASTER’S PROGRAM BACK TO WESTCHESTER

Polytechnic Institute of NYU has reaffirmed its commitment to providing cutting-edge graduate education for the Hudson Valley region by re-launching its renowned Management of Technology (MOT) Executive Master’s Program at the Westchester Graduate Center in Hawthorne.

The MOT program had gained a strong following first in Westchester and then by moving to Downtown Manhattan near Wall Street.  The MOT Program is now returning to Westchester. The University has gauged an enormous demand from the high-tech professional community in Westchester, Rockland, Northern New Jersey, and Western Connecticut, and is responding by launching an additional MOT cohort in Hawthorne for Fall 2006.

Rather than grafting a few courses onto a traditional business program, Polytechnic’s MOT Program is a thoroughly innovative, integrated business curriculum. “It’s vital to all of New York City/Tri-State Region business that its managers are capable of integrating effectively innovation and technology into strategic decision making,” stated Prof. Mel Horwitch a co-director of the program, “That’s essentially what we do in the MOT Executive Master’s Program. It’s great to return to Westchester.”

The program will begin in Westchester in September, 2006 with new courses, faculty, and a revitalized curriculum.  Applications are now being accepted. More information is available at: www.mot-tim.poly.edu.
